deTuring

deTuring is a short, thought-provoking teaser game developed as part of the Museum of Humanity project during the summer of 2023. It serves as an early glimpse into the larger themes explored by the Museum: the evolving relationship between humans and artificial intelligence. While it invites players to reflect critically on the role of AI in society, the game’s true focus lies elsewhere—on the player’s own sense of humanity. Through a deceptively simple task—moving boxes—deTuring challenges players to confront deeper questions about purpose, agency, and the nature of human experience in a world increasingly shaped by machines.
